    Sure it's possible!!! Wav files are the best quality you can get (if they made them the right way..)

    I rip vinyls and they are all in .wav format.
    I burn them on cd for myself and covert them to 192KBps MP3 files for sharing later..

    great, i just didn't want to download a whole bunch of huge .wav files
    only to find out that i have to compress them to mp3 to burn thanx
