  1. #1
i'm using the basic bittorrent 4.2 client as recommended in the forum tutorial. i tried to download an episode of "lost" and it took 20 hours and still was at only 41%. i know it's my first download so it should be slow, but is that normal? help!

    thanks,

Are you using a router, if so did you do the port forward thing?

If you are, you didn't forward them and are not sure how to, read some stuff on this site.

if you are using a public tracker it's easy for it to be slow as they usually have a very poor seeder to leecher ratio.

well, it's not depend only because the ammount of the seeders... the place you get the torrent from is more important as I think...

in Some places I got lost in 40 mins...

in other as you said few days
