theres no way the WON-Identify at all, jus go jack a key from wal-mart....
Unless there's some misunderstanding somewhere you can simply just use a keygen and enter the serial number it produces. I'm almost certain unless it was your friend's version you're using the serial number won't work for your game.Originally posted by swarnel@19 April 2003 - 03:13

Your friend's serial would work, if it's a legal key. However, you both couldn't play at the same time.
Key-gens won't work for playing online, at all.

keygens will work... but they wont work like 99.9% of the time... and odds are, if one key does work... odds are its a key that has been sold already, thus someone would be using it, and thus you wouldnt be able to play it as the same time as them. I have never heard of any one generating a key that last or worked for more then a day or two, taht wasnt already in use...
the costs like $15...
ya, no shit, cs/half life is so cheap right now, its actually one of the few pieces of software worth the buy.
