Thanks goodness I've only worked one Saturday since I've been a technician.
Other techs like to work weekends 'cause of the light load so when I get it on my schedule I'm able to trade it away.
Hell I was scheduled last Saturday but traded.
I do wish I was scheduled for Thanksgiving or the day after. Both are holidays for us and holiday pay is double time and a half.
Holiday work and working past 49 hours in a week (which is double time) is why technicians easily hit $100,000+ a year....especially if you are a cable technician.
Make that paper.
