hey clocker i got the cpu installed, i got the psu installed, i got the heatsink and fan installed, i got the cd rom, floppy, and harddrive installed. but now
im having what seems like the easiest problem
i cant figure out how to get the io faceplate out because the one thats on my case wont work with my mobo, so i have the one that came with the mobo but i dont know how to install it, any help? if you need pictures or anything let me know

Usually they are completely interchangeable, and the one you don't want simply pushes out.
I can't remember if you said which case you've got, and to be honest I can't be bothered to look back.

so i got that out by pushing the thing, then it flying around in the case, then my hand being scraped. then i installed the mobo with flying colors and now im looking how to install an sata hdd because ive only used an ata, it should take about 10 seconds then i gotta install graphics cards and what not, will update you later

okay so that finding out about the sata didnt work very well, i got everything installed, EXCEPT the harddrive and a fan or two

i bought a 200gig maxtor sata oem from newegg so i have that
can i use this as the main drive? or does there need to be an ide in there somewhere

The drive installs just as any HDD...coupla screws and you're in.
