Yah, although I listen to everything except rap, I have to say classical music is more exciting. There's more variations, dynamics, etc. whereas punk/rock sounds the same throughout the entire song.Originally Posted by cpt_azad
Plus, these classical pieces have survived for hundreds of years, do you really think kids 300 years from now on are going to listen to a shitty band like Slipknot? (I used to like them, but they suck now. Except for Joey, his drumming's pretty good).

Wonderwall - Oasis
Ray Charles - Georgia on my mind.
Agreed (on the 300 years things and rap thing), diagreed on the slipknot sucks part lol, although they could get rid of 3 members....and yes, joey kicks ass.Originally Posted by Seedler
Know of any good compilations that I could check out? Well not compliations, can't think of the word right now, but I mean full albums of classical music.

Radiohead - Paranoid Android is a pretty addictive song. Pearl Jam - Black as well. Oh and let me go ahead and throw in Incubus - Warning
"Reflection"-TOOL. I love how Danny Carey goes up the toms instead of down them. And the fact he does it for 11 minutes straight.
