Take my computer and toss it with the router please.
befsr41 3.1
but its not the one on the website. It has liek 5 lights not 20.
Again you don't provide enough information.
The befsr41 has more than 5 lights. How did you find that number? Is it right on the router?
You also didn't say what you want from us.
Yea, I remember my old linksys router gave me all kinds of hell at first, but then I upgraded and firmware and boom, problems went away. It did burn up after 2 more years, so I use a newer model. Still a linksys, but it's a gigabyte one. Hopefully these hardrive will support faster transfer rates someday so I can get good use of the gigabyte speed. Fuck, why not just have network speed of 1gbs. Drool dammit!
That's gigabit.Originally Posted by Wolfmight

Getting back to the point, why not invest in an OfficeConnect, never had a problem with mine. I use the 3com OfficeConnect ADSL wireless 3CWDR 100A 72 , for two webservers that I run on seperate computers. The wireless connection supports with ease 2000 users...
I had a linksys befsr41 for a few years. One day (2 weeks or so ago) I lost internet connection and my router just had a solid red light like it does when you first hook it up. It died. Seems there's nothing you can do. Good thing I have a linksys wireless router too.
this is what mine looked like, which is what virtualbody was also talking about.

The pic on the web site is V4, you've got V3.
Here's the latest firmware. However, it seems to be lacking an installer, maybe you need to use the V1 or V4 installer but it isn't clear.
