Heavy like a song that has from start till end heavy rhythm with nasty vocals ?
Metal sounds very similar, but aim at gay grindcore or pornocore and you will find such songs.

it's interesting to see what everyone thinks of as "heavy" in terms of metal music. music is so subjective, it's crazy.

when i think of heavy i usually think of breakdowns. parts that make you wanna just snap your neck off from slamming it back n forth. like just because a song is loud, distorted, and has screaming vocals is not even 10% of terming a song/band as heavy for me. like nile or pig destroyer can be doing grindcore and i wouldn't really say that's too heavy. i'd call it brutal or extreme before heavy.

just some thoughts.

You and I are so damn alike, tempochanges/breakdowns are my forte as well I guess you can say. Go drums go! lol
