Im on NTL mate, ive got the 2meg and it maxes out my connection at 240k a second.

The news servers are ok, pretty good for free. Its all I use now. I only download movies though from alt.binaries.movies.divx. There seem to be a few missing parts with each movie but these can be re-created with .par files. They seem to have about a weeks retention (maybe 5days, im not at home and I cant remember off hand)

That application is Newsleecher. It'd be nice if that was all there was to that program, however there is ALOT of crap he cut off for that image.

*Bright idea- Someone should make a Newsleecher lite version; N-lite!
Just cut out all the article reading crap and make it's sole purpose NZB grabbing.

What is crap about Newsleecher most people prefer it and the article reading is a needed feature because it tells you how many articles is left by words and visually if you can leech a article in your retention range the program can also be easily minamized and still allow the user interaction with it's extensive features. It also allows for the selection of articles to leech if you use supersearch etc...,to much features for ya? because it's not free?

I think you mean 10Mbit, as your download rate is a little over 1 Megabyte. Your download rate is a tenth of your line speed.

But I must agree, Usenet is much much much better than say Torrent.
