Curiously, my pack of free Ubuntu distros arrived a few weeks ago.
I tried the "Run from the disk" version for a while.
I must credit it for recognizing all my hardware and going right to the internet.
The desktop was retarded and I'm too lazy to explore it.

See man, linux isn't that bad these days, it isn't a nerdy black screen white text hacker thing anymore, there are clear alternitives to windows, I use fedora core 4 comes prepacked with gaim, and xchat, firefox, connects to the interenet automatically, its awesome.
