I know that but many of the countries were hard to make out.

What you need to do is get a proper map of the world.

Look to see where Nepal, for instance, is situated on the proper map. Then look on the population indicator map, cross reference the Nepal location and then you'll know which country you're looking at. (FYI- Nepal is situated over the top of India, in the middle).

Most folk have seen a world map enough times to do this without the need to look at a different map, but I do understand that you hardly look beyond your own borders.
