I spent days trying get to cm4 with bittorent it stayed at 80%. Used Torrent spy it said there was no completed files to download from.

randomguy, i did a custom install and turned off the three options, but still the same error comes up
and it seems bittorrent is useless too.

so what now? pay for the actual game

Don`t know if it`ll help you, but you should atleast give it a try

Anyway if that doesn`t work, then I`m out of suggestions, beside d/l the file once more. You might wanna check out another p2p software called eMule though. I hear it automatically checks your files for corruption and in the case of a corruption, it`ll download that part automatically to ensure a corruption free download.

Oh yeah, I also turned the bin to an iso first (which you can get here) then ran it with daemon tools. I don't know if that will make a difference but it worked for me so it must be worth a try

Yea turning the bin to an iso worked for me with sim city 4 when I got an error. Well it`s worth a try..
