I find Demoniod is good for getting older things, for example, I managed to get the original TV Series of pride and prejudice for my mum, she was well chuffed.
One thing I have a problem about on demoniod, is I invited my friend, he tried to sign up, and never gets an email from them so he can't log in

If you use internet explorer the pop up has a trojan horse in it, so use firefox or something similar instead!

What I mean is, once he has used my invite to sign up, he doesn't get his confirmation email, so he can't activate the account.they dont send you a email. demonoid is what it is, use it or not, but complaining wont get you far, its free enjoy it as long as it exsists.
it good for small programs and other small stuff
if you want bigger stuff go to your other good and free sites

Have been using for well over a year and its a really good site for small programs and at times even movies. Havent had any problem with connections but you can get problem with low no of seeders occasionally.
not a big fan, but it is good for programs, movies, etc.
i like demonoid due to its variety, albeit not the latest stuff. But there are plenty other sites out there that solves this. Speed does depend though, its not the fastest, but i'm happy with the site. I dont use it much due to the tracker problems and ratios [not sure whether its improved]. I use it mainly as a last resort.
