What's left now: Seagate/Maxtor, Western Digital, Fujistsu, Hitachi, Samsung? Is that it? Or did I miss some?

There you go competion shot to hell again ! Did n't know that tho . I'v had the same Maxtor for the last 5 years . But what a great one two punch ,Seagate/Maxtor.

Mind you does n't Samsung still have the best warranty on the market ?

Seagate went to 5yrs on most if not all HDDs. That shook the HDD industry. Because the rest were starting to go to a 1yr warranty. Now all I believe are 3yrs except Seagates 5yrs.

Interesting ,I checked my neighbourhood computer store :

    http://www.slacocomputer.com/c_hard_drive.shtml

Gripes 15000 rpm and 16 mb cache ? 5 year warranty on some models , time to upgrade ?
