    Rough estimate of computer spending since Feb 2003 (when I got my first PC):

    Monitors £400
    Graphics cards £200
    Motherboards £300
    CPUs £500
    RAM £350
    Hard Drives £500
    CD/DVD drives £150
    Keyboards/Mice/Joypads £200
    Speakers £100
    Laptop £1000
    Misc £200

    Total = £3900

    Building a new machine in January with a budget of £700.

    I won't need to splash out on any new hard drives or a monitor and I'm too cheap to get a new case. I suppose I'm upgrading really...
