Hi,
I recently had to re-setup my pc and decided to use tweakui to remove the arrows from shortcuts. upon clicking "none", my icons went to a much lower quality.
I wish to use 16bit but at present have to use 32 to avoid this horrible look tweakui has left them with.
re-installing the driver didnt help.

thanks for any help

Did you try the "rebuild icons" option in TweakUI? Just an idea.
I've had problems with that particular feature working properly. But I've found that "allowing" arrows, clicking on "apply" then use TweakUI to remove the arrows again.
