Cigarettes are the most insidious habit...I was ordered to quit by my cardiologist just after angioplasty.

Why were you smoking just after angioplasty, are you a mental or something.

Just wondering, when did you guys all start smoking? Was it all under the illeagle age? I find almost all smokers start at there 14-15 Teenage age.

Technically, I'd already stopped; the day before, in fact.

The cardiologist reinforced my decision, and very effectively, too.

The gist of all of it was:

You must do all of these things (diet, drink, exercise, etc., on and on for 30 minutes) for a healthy heart, but none of that means the least unless you quit smoking.

I was never more than a pack, pack-and-a-half per-day smoker, though for 28 years.
