Just downloaded some ,what was described as,KIDS_MOVIES for my 4yo.

WHY???
I am glad she was not in the room. This makes me sad and angry!!!
WHY cant the programers stop these kind of files???
The peer to peer community needs to do some work on this befor I will EVER
install another peer to peer.

No can do anything about these people renaming files. It's just some things you have to deal with if you go into P2P. I'm sorry that your first time was a bad one.

there's not much can be said about this kind of thing. this kind of content must be outlawed, especially from p2p apps. if the authorities find out the extent to which this content has penetrated the "network", then surely more efforts would be devoted to the closure.

I certainly don't want to appear insensitive to your plight, but yours is a classic case of shooting the messenger. Somewhat like refusing to use the US Postal Service because the Unibomber did. You were naive ( with minimal damage, fortunately).

The kind of danger you fear exists everywhere in this digital world, hence the popularity of firewalls, anti-virus programs and Parental Controls (I assume you noticed the filters in the Kazaa options?).

Don't deprive yourself of the myriad benefits available through p2p programs, just learn to be a savvy user. You had better learn now so you'll be qualified to teach your kids how to protect themselves later...

I was pretty mad at the time of my post.
I admit this is new to me and naive is a good word to use.
My kid knows how to use this thing {computer} better than me!
