Thread: i have a question

    Hi everyone.
    I need some help.
    I was copying a copy of a dvd at 8x and I did it numerous times. Now all the sudden, I can only copy at 2x. Can anyone help me with this?
    I'm using Nero Express to copy and the only dvd-r's I've used are Memorex that are 16x.
    I'd appreciate any help. Thanks!

    This is the File Sharing section. This thread belongs in the Hardware section. Next time, please post in the correct section.

    The problem you describe sounds like it's caused by your burner not being able to read the media code that "informs" it what speeds the media can handle. Most likely caused by defective media. Try another blank DVD.

    maybe the dvd only goes at a certain speed, check the dvd and see how fast its speed is
