  1. #1
I want to download redhat linux from there site but its not working.

On there download page it sais to download, use anonymous as username and ur email address as pasword. When i try use download accelorator it asks for the username and pass, i put the info in and it keeps asking me.

    the download page is:

    http://ftp.redhat.com/pub/redhat/linux/9/en/iso/i386/

i only need the bottom 3 iso images.

Why cant they just make it easy ??

if you've got a ftp client connect to ftp://ftp.redhat.com/pub/redhat/linux/9/en/iso/i386/
it worked for me, or try putting the addresses of all files with ftp at start.
    Code:
    ftp://ftp.redhat.com/pub/redhat/linux/9/en/iso/i386/shrike-i386-disc1.iso
    ftp://ftp.redhat.com/pub/redhat/linux/9/en/iso/i386/shrike-i386-disc2.iso
    ftp://ftp.redhat.com/pub/redhat/linux/9/en/iso/i386/shrike-i386-disc3.iso
try putting they 3 in your download accelerator

    disc 1 mirrors
    disc2 mirrors
    disc3 mirrors

add the whole list to dap and then let it pick the fastest. B) for each disc

I am not sure if the links are the same as I used.

I just downloaded all three disks the other day. Took me just a few hours with DAP on DSL.

I had to create my own CD Label design.

I am going to install that LINUX REDhat 9.0, some time this week, on a spare computer. Give it a test run. Then I'll post my review here.

Thank you so much for the mirrors they all work with DAP. Its gonna take me bloody ages because im on 56k but i have downloaded bigger files before i can wait for these.

I have never used any linux OS before i have always used windows. Is it much different in looks ?? Im downloading it because windows has just got boring im wanna try something else.

Once again thanks for the mirrors i was hitting my head on the wall trying to download from the official site

You need a cd burner to put them on cd first. On the site it explains properly how to get it going
