    can someone explain what the "inactive" error message means?

    edit: found answer. What happens to files after 50 days? Can I request a repost?

    you can but you will have to go to the group the files where posted in and request it there. The chances of the files from that particular nzb still being on your newsserver are pretty small unless you have greater than 50 day retention.
