One time, many moons ago, I was playing 3 card brag (nothing wild) in a local club. It was a serious game with hundreds of pounds in it (this was about 25 years ago). There were about ten players, all with plenty of cash and gamblers to a man.

I got three kings, the third best possible hand and about a brazillian to one to get beaten. Basically you put your house on a hand like that. There was I, cool as feck, not a sign. I could have had anything, in spite of the adrenaline flowing thro' the old veins.

It was a mis-deal, someone got 4 cards by accident and the hand was void.

I like a quiet game of three card brag down the local too. Well, either that or trumps for a pound a man. Poker is too damn complicated and fussy for us pisheads.
