I saw screeshots of the game too.. I din't like some of them one bit.. Iwas wondering if the graphics will be shite as they look on some occassions..

It looks like that on my system too. Not able to see through the Windows in the cars.... And the environment looks much better in Mafia. In The Godfather they also have those stupid arcadish effects when crashing with the car etc....

But I suppose I was "stupid" enough to think this would be Mafia 2

Should I not even waste my time with it? How is the gameplay?

GTA has always had pitiful graphics, but the gameplay is great so I like it.

GTA has always had pitiful graphics, but the gameplay is great so I like it.

I think you will like the gameplay if you like console gaming. If you want to shoot someone you have to lock on to him with one button and shoot with another. Same with fighting, "lock on" to the guy and then punch with "Q" and "E" etc. The cars handling is somewhat ok but not great. You never get any felling of driving "old" cars as you do in Mafia, but the traffic has some nice futures like using the horn to get them to change lanes etc.
It does not look like it is a speed limit as the cops never cared about it when I was speeding around, and they don't bother if you don't wait for green light.

The people on the streets looks ok, and they have some cool things to say too. The character creating thingie is also great, you can change nearly everything on the guy from the mounth to the eyes etc.
Every shop you are in have the same things to crush to make the owner "fear" you and pay protection money.

Test it if you have time, you might like it. I'm just gonna have it on the HD and wait for some working cheat/trainers to have some fun and then delete the whole thing

The GXF on The Godfather is not low, it's just what it is... just plain ugly cars hehe. I have it on 1280 X 1024 and it does not matter if it is higher/lower, no more details on the cars or anything.
