    I think I should shoot it........
    I expected a little more out of the burst rates
    it's on it's own IDE channel ffs, or am I expecting too much?
    and the bastard wouldn't even bench on Madden '06
    maybe a deal with SafeDisc4? or a combo of SD4/HP?

    That's a benchmark of an Audio CD.

    come on now, I know just about every Tom, Dick & Harry in this forum has Nero

    if you don't, well......Nero CD/DVD speed can be had for free.....

    Well my Lite-On has some pretty good numbers I suppose. Though I can't be sure as I'm not 100% sure of all that I'm looking at there...



    However, I'm sure it's time to chuck this Sony DVD-Rom down the hall and buy another one.

    Well I just put in an old data cd not even sure where i got it from but its funny to see different results from 2 drives the older liteon812@832 vs. the benq1640.Prefer scanning dvd for errors myself...
