I didnt know you were in the uk. use google, I know the jap movies wont owrk on the psps here. I dont know if UK and Jap use the same encoding. you'll have to check on google.

im pretty sure japanese psps work here caz many ppl ordered them from japan when psp came out to get the white one plus they use same umds and memory disks so i think itll work but Im Not SURE
PSP games work on any PSP its the UMD movies that are locked u will need a PSP with FW 1.5 to 2.0 to fully have Homebrew but there is a eBoot loader for 2.01+
