ive noticed on msn 5.0 that some ppl on my contact list have been able to create their own email addresses WITHOUT "@hotmail.com" on the end of it

im confuzed cause some one on my lists address is "throwing_hard_things_@teachers.co.uk"

and i can talk 2 him n everything and he wont tell me how he does it

does anyone know how to do it, or is there a program that can do it 4 u????

    Go to: http://www.passport.net/Consumer/Default.asp?lc=1033

Click "Register for your FREE .NET Passport today!"

There, you will have the option to register an existing e-mail address for a .NET passport or create a new @msn.com or @hotmail.com e-mail.

He's right, theres no trick to it, you just use an e-mail address you already have instead of signing up for a Microsoft one.

There are drawbacks though, I don't think Messenger will alert you when you have new mail if you use a private address.
