Is this a failed parachute scenario
Is this a failed parachute scenario
@riddler: the hot air balloon one is crazy, how the hell are u ever supposed to get it?![]()
Well, since no one else put the answer for the balloon one, here goes:
Two men were crossing a desert in a hot air balloon. They ran out of fuel, and the balloon began to descend. If they hit the ground, both of them would have starved, so they decided to lighten the balloon by throwing off some weight. First they threw out all their clothes, but the balloon continued its descent. So they decided that one had to jump off, so that at least one survived. This was decided by drawing a straw, which the dead man was holding.
Have a go at this one, though it's not terribly difficult (nor is it a riddle):
Two cars meandered along the winding country road and came to an abrupt stop at the park's gate. Seven men got out of the two cars and proceeded along a footpath when it began to rain. Six of the men began to walk faster to get out of the rain, but the seventh man couldn't be bothered. Ironically it was the seventh man who remained dry and the other six got soaked. Since all seven men arrived at their destination together, how was this possible?

It had to be that or the 7th man was Chinese royalty.
Here's one of the oldest riddles. The riddle of the Sphinx. (its the only one I can think of right now)
What walks first on four, then on two, then on three.
humans
4 legs as a baby, two legs as an adult, and three legs (cane) as an old person
Correct.Originally posted by pyromonkey@23 April 2003 - 19:48

I thought of a couple more. Here's the first one. Almost as old.
Brother's and sisters, I have none. But that mans father, is my father's son.
Who is that man?
your own son!
edit: stupid answer
