    Saw this in the Sun. Is it true?



    EDIT: I don't mean about the trophy , I mean has no other top-flight club ever had to play fewer competitive matches in a season?

    Rather than top-flight, the stipulation is Premiership club, so I'd say they fit that catagory but I expect that some other top-flight club has played fewer competitive games in one season - particularly when there wasn't as many teams in Division One, for example.
