Just registered to this forume, would like to ask a question.

I just installed Windows 2003 Enterprise Edition, and now when i run PG it tells me.

"Component 'MSCOMCTL.OCX' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a missing file or invalid"

Do i need to install VB6 or something.

Did you install Win2003 after PeerGuardian was already installed. Maybe uninstalling PG and reinstalling may help. Could be that Win2003 overrid a file used by Peer Guardian. Remember PG 1.95 is beta, so it could be a bug or incompatibility thingy with Win2003. If you cannot get it to run, I suggest running the older version see if that performs.

You'll have to install VB6 runtime, Windows 2003 Server doesn't come with them, as it is the first step to migrating to VB.NET.

Google the missing file, I'm sure you'll be able to download it somewhere.
