    hi all
i need some some help from you ppl.i have a xfx fx 5200 256mb card and it has served me well for the last 1 year.but now when i play need for speed most wanted at 1024*768 with medium settings, i get 15-17 frames per second.
i have a budget of a 100 $ only.could you please tell me whether xfx 6200 agp(256mb) will give me any performance improve in most wanted.like 25 frames per second.i would be grateful for your advice.also whether xfx 6200 128 mb would be better or the 256mb one because i have heard that the 256 mb is 64 bit whereas 128 mb one is 128 bit.which one should buy????i need to play most wanted at atleast 25 frames per second.
plzzzzzz help me in choosing my card.i cant get hold of a ati 9550.so the choice is between 6200 128mb or 256 mb.

A 6200 is only a small step up from a 5200. The main reason for bringing out the 6200 was the transition to pci-e. The AGP version was brought oit for backwards compatibility.

You won't see much of an improvement with the 6200, certainly not worth upgrading from a 5200. You should be able to get a 6600 for about $100, but personally I'd recommend raising your budget slightly and getting a 6600GT. Do NOT get a 6600LE, they cost the same as a 6600 but they are totally crippled.

6600GT or if you can find a 6800 on clearance (Circuit City had them for $80 after rebate one week)
