i'm pretty sure you can fix that by just selecting the image and moving it around with the arrow keys... doesn't stick that way.

Over the years I have just learned to deal with it, but when it ticks me off the most, I just use the arrow keyes.

does anyone know how to make cs2 zoom in and out of the image with the mouse wheel?
Also, does anyone know how to make it open all files in RGB mode and unlocked?

There is no option for that unfortunately. I'd love to see it in a later version though. If anyone working at Adobe reads this, my preference is Ctrl+wheel up/down.

    What I find useful is Ctrl+ -/+

Your files should be opening in RBG by default so I don't really understand the question. As far as being unlock, I just press Ctrl+A (Select all) > Ctrl+C (Copy) > Ctrl+N (New) > Ctrl+V (Paste). You can do all of that in about 3 seconds time.

If in the future, you have any shortcut question, this is a great reference page. (4 pages really) I have it tacked up on the wall next to me.
