Avi To Dvd?

Im new to this. Is there any way of burning a AVI moving to a DVD disk, without a DVD burner. Also I dont want to make it into a VCD

that i know of you can't burn a dvd with out a dvd burner but if you want to fit it to a vcd try the site that Duo put up its a big help.
