How to install programs that require a floppy without using one?

For example, PartitionMagic and BootMagic tell me that it's highly reccommended to make rescue diskettes, but I don't have a floppy drive. I try to put in a blank CD, but it doesn't accept it. Are there any alternatives to this? Thanks in advance.

A jump drive should work just fine. Click the browse button and navigate to it.

You can always get an external floppy that hooks up to your USB. They are more expensive than internal types but would be certain to work, Usb drives don't work on all machines and your bios has to be able to boot from Usb so check that before you buy. Sometimes a program like partition magic is setup to go to the A: drive and getting it on to a Usb device that gets a different drive letter may not be possible, check out their sites for Usb compatibility.
