No, it used to have a couple that were easily uninstallable.

Now it has none.

Its a great program. Very small and elegant. Just what Kazaa should have been

Glad your trying Ares.

It never has fake files
It always resumes files if you crash out of it
It shows how many users have the files
It has a built in media player (fro checking downloads)
It has tabbed searching (just added)
And its only a very small program (shows the programmer is very capable)

Just wish people shared more celeb jpegs on it !

I have been using Ares for months now and I love it. I have never gotten a virus from the program installation or from downloads! Very great speeds also. I've installed it many computers running all sorts of anti virus programs and none of them have every tagged it as a virus. Happy Downloading.

I don't use this personaly but it looks nice.. I might get my girlfriend to use this instead of the junk shes currently using.

if downloaded from a well know tracker it will be ok but if it were from another unrecognized place it is on your risk

ive been using the ares network fo thre years now has always been fast i have never had avirus form it as for spywear it is not but other userrs must be able to view your shard folder which is why your firewall recignizes this as spywear
