I have a 200gb HD paritioned into 2 parts, on the one where I do all video editing, there's an empty folder (which once contained some items I've deleted) that I can't get rid of. Whenever I try do anything to it (move, delete, rename) it just says "Cannot xxxx file: Cannot read from the source file or disk" Anything I can do here to get rid of it?

Do a Google for "moveonboot". Freeware. Works just fine.

Try googling unlocker, its freeware and looks to see whats locking a file and allows you to unlock it. I've noticed alot of times if I try to delete a file in the left pane of windows explorer it won't go but if I set it to show in the right pane it will (same goes for renaming).
