Junk Mail, we all hate it. Is there any real way that it can be got rid. I have a hotmail account with the extra storage and everyday 100+ pieces of mail that a) I didnt ask for. B) I dont want. I have a 10 year old daughter, and I created her an account, within 2 days she had mail ranging from herbal viagra, finance, and porn. Her address was never posted anywhere. I've stopped her using it now, but in a fair world she should be able to use it. Do these people have no shame?
Any thoughts?

I know what you mean, I guess the account I chose must have been in exsistance at some point in the past. But still it doesnt excuse these people just blindly sending out mail to everyone. Hotmail recommends that you dont try and remove yourself by replying as this proves the account is active and may increase the amount of junk mail.

just continue to put the emails on block. i did that with my attbi acct and they eventually stopped.
but once you get on one list... you're pretty much screwed. cause then that company gives it to 20, and etc.

You can get SpamKiller version 4 and this will work on Hotmail accounts as well as the norm.

cool, thanks I might give that a go. I hear hotmail do advanced mail filtering with the MSN8. Not sure how good it is though.

Spam should be made illegal, it's an invasion of privacy. Yahoo have a good Spam filter.
Gonna have a look for that Spam Killer.
