I was going to say that it's a stupid idea to make the noob thread invisible to members, because then noobs would say hello, and not get a hello back.

But this trumps that other thought on the stupidity scale.

Well it was a "say hello, n00b" thread. Not a "say hello to a n00b" thread.

Maybe he made it invisible so we wouldn't spam it. Then only n00bs can say hello, thus sticking to the thread title.

That seems to be the sort of logic which is currently prevelant, so it would make sence.

Actually, signing up to the forum is a fucking joke. Thank goodness I don't do it every day.

First off, you fill in your details, and then it says you're in. Then it says, you can't be in, because you're already a registered user, so you have to sign in again, and then it says "hey, post in the n00b thread, n00b", so you click the link, and then it says you don't have access to the n00b thread, so then you go to your email, and it says "Welcome to FileSharingTalk" except it says it in the spam folder, not the inbox.



I'm not surprised n00bs only post once, well, not at all now I guess!
