Nah, I've drunk beer in the Saracen, at the corner. Just before you get to the Vogue Bingo Hall at the junction with Hawthorn Street (if you're travelling away from the town centre).
That's not even a wee bit intimidating. Unless you're a wee foreign burd.
The Saracen is alright, people are nice in there.
The Rangers pub at the end of Saracen near Lidl is well dodgy though.
First time I ever went there someone just got stabbed outside the wee fish shop.
