I only pay attention to them when i hit them

for fun, yeah sometimes, but i always get bored and then start rampaging the city

I pay attention to them when I need to jack a car. It's much easier to catch a cheetah when it is slowing down for a red light. If it's green it's gone. Of course when I'm driving it's a bit different. B)

Honestly, some of the timed missions you couldnt complete by following all traffic laws, unless you were cheating.
