    To be honest, once in a blue moon.

    That's the one in the computer. I rarely defrag the external data drives.

    There's a school of thought which would have us believe that defragging too often is counter productive. As it overworks the HDD and in particular the bearings, to little or no good end with regard to overall speed of access.

    Clocker may be able to shed some light on this. I'm certainly not going into his wankpit (Hard-on World) to ask.
