Thread: NOD32 problem.

  1. #1
I'm having a problem with NOD.
I'm not sure if the problem is NOD actually or windows (I'm running on xp btw).
Today a message appeared in the tray telling me that NOD32 might be out of date and that my pc may be on danger.
I performed a manual update and NOD informs me that is up to date! However the message is still there on the tray.

Has anybody else experienced such problem?

Maybe.. I disabled it right now... The message on the tray is gone.
However, if anybody has a different opinion please let me know.

I also had a strange problem with nod32 recently, the virus def's were about 4 days old. When I went to auto update it said I was upto date.Even though there site says a new file is available...I unistalled reinstalled and got the new defs....But it could just be a server slow down....I will give it a few days to see if update feature is working....sp2 does recognize nod32 but 4 days causes it to alert you...

    1.1454 Old database ?

    1. trial period has expired.

    2. installation error.
    Try reinstalling NOD32.
Most likely something screwed up the NOD32 registry records.

    3. Eset policy to give priority to registered users.
The updates for TRIAL and cr###ed version users were ceased
intentionally. In the event of a large update.
    (happens 4-5 times a year)
paying users have the highest priority
and the others are updated afterwards.

    If Manuall updating doesn't work

Reinstall should update to 1.1459 New database as off 28.03.06
