i have noticed this on my computer as one of the start up items it has only appeared on my computer in the last few days that i know of and i was wondering what it is, i have done a virus scan with trendmicro's house call and it showed up as greyware but could not remove it , i have also used google to try and find out about it but i could not find anything that said what it is, any ideas folks .

    HKCU?

That sounds like a directory in your registry: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software

this is the full line that i have managed to find
    HKCU,"Software\Microsoft\Windows\ CurrentVersion\Explorer\ComDlg32"
i'm not sure what it is and i don't know if it will harm my computer or anyone i send mail to,
as i said earlier i tried using trendmicro but it could not get rid of it.

thanks for your reply virtualbody 1234

    HKCU,"Software\Microsoft\Windows\ CurrentVersion\Explorer\ComDlg32"
is a perfectly normal registry key.

It should have no entries except an empty default, and normally only 2 subkeys: LastVisitedMRU which has MRU (most recently used) entries.
OpenSaveMRU which has MRU entries and multiple file type subkeys each of which may also have MRU entries.

If housecall hasn't given you any more info then it's virtually useless.

    Try Spybot instead.
