OK...so I'm checking my hotmail account emails and I see an email with the title:

    Torrentit.com user registration confirmation

I'm curious about this b/c not only did I not register, I've never even been to the Torrentit website.

I click the title to open the email and sure enough, it's a legit confirmation email. I click the confirm link and it takes me to the Torrentit website.

OK...here's the really strange part. At the top where it states the name of the person logged in, it says:

Welcome back: sziko (Not skizo, but sziko)

Pretty strange eh? Perhaps someone here signed me up??

Investigating even further, it states that I signed up 3 hours ago at which time I was still at work.

they opened registrations today (maybe yesterday)
    i signed up too
my only guess is that somebody saw u asking for invites to there at some point
or a friend registered for u, with ur email, and what they thought was ur username (typo'd a bit)
either way, it can only be a good thing
    i'd change the password though!

I thought the same thing about the password, but it requires entering the old one first which of course I don't know. I tried my username and some others I thought might be obvious picks but to no avail.

Yeah, act like you forgot your password so they send it to your email.
