Maybe man has become too smart for his own good but choosing not to eat things that are unpalatable when other morsals are available is not symptomatic of this.
Bears only eat the eyes and brains of salmon when the salmon reach their spawning destination because they are the tastiest and most nutritious part of the salmon. There are brazillions of salmon just waiting to be eaten so the bears can pick and choose which parts to eat.
Have bears become to smart for their own darn good.
