Thread: How To Install Red Hat 8.0?

  1. #1
    Okay, I've got CD's 1, 2, and 3.

Now, after I F Disk my Old disk, can I boot from Disk 1 of the Red Hat 8.0 disk set?

    Do I need a serial?

    Thanks.

Just stick Red Hat 8.0 cd 1 in the cd-rom drive reboot. Since cd is bootable, it'll go into it's boot program. GO into it and you can fdisk your drive from the install program. No you don't need a serial. Linux is OPEN SOURCE. Free infomation for all. Have fun with linux...
Perhaps you should just download Red Hat 9.0 though... It is out...
