Don't know if this has been mentioned before, but the first version of the Grand Theft Auto series is officially available for free download on the rockstar website (www.rockstargames.com)
i think the download is approx 300MB, so may take a while.
it's an old game now, but still has some novelty value

Note: They fixed this game so it will work better for newer faster computers, the old game didnt work very well with new computers. That among with many other things....

the magazine article i saw said it was the full game
i haven't downloaded it yet, i'm only on 56k
anyone else got this game from the rockstar site?
