Thread: Quick question regarding burning cd

  1. #1
Ok using Nero I burned a couple of avi files to a dvd disc.....what program can I use to copy those avi files I have on the disc back onto my hard drive? I was looking through Nero and it seems I can only copy them back to my hard drive as a img file or iso file (one of the two). Is there a way I can get them back onto the hard drive as avi files?

No just put your dvd in the drive, open the dvd and drag and drop from there,

All spelling mistakes and grammatical errors in my post's are intentional.

I think when I tried that it wouldnt work.......said the disks were read only or something.

It should work. To copy files from a CD to your hard disk you would need to read from the CD and write to the HDD. So read only is what is required from the CD.
