My penneth worth is....no its not wrong, and no-one has the right to sit in moral judgement of what turns people on provided it is consensual.

    That's an interesting position.

What if someone has deeply held beliefs that something is wrong. Should they just shut the fuck up, or are they allowed to express those opinions.

But where is the line between force-feeding someone a bias opinion and expressing their opinion openly?

That's very much down to the people concerned and how they go about expressing their opinion. There really is no simple answer.

However it's a bit harsh for someone to say that it's wrong for someone else to express their opinion. That's just as much censorship as the person expressing the opinion that something is wrong.

Oh wait, it is expressing the opinion that something is wrong.

Very true, but some opinions are more socially acceptable due to common sense.

Indeed, but common sense can be a very personal thing.

Would you like to expand on this? I'm not sure I understand.

Someone may say "blah blah blah" it's just common sense.

Someone else may think that "blah blah blah" is a load of old pish and that "blag blag blag" is common sense.

"Common Sense" is a glib figure of speech and is quite frankly meaningless.

Common sense means "rational" or "coherent". What I meant by that is knowledge that universal (on the most part).

Common sense - the sky is blue on clear days
common sense - crossing the road when cars are coming is not safe
common sense - if you stick your hand under a lawn mower it might hurt a little
common sense - a person's skin colour does not affect their intelligence

    Get what I'm saying?
