That feature works fine for me as maybe you used Mark Forums Read link...

Might not be relevant but if you do it from the front page, or a sub-forum index, it takes you to the first unread post of the thread rather than the last post of the thread.

@Rozz when you are refering to "clicking the arrow thingy takes you to the absolute last post." do you mean this button

It is glitchy...it will go to the post when the page first loads but as mages and things load it gets pushed down.
That's the browsers fault.
