MS RegClean, Jouni Vuorio's RegCleaner 4.3, Norton's Utilities, and (sometimes) Registry First Aid v2.0.0
No one cleaning program has been able to do it all. MS RegClean, Jouni Vuorio's RegCleaner 4.3, and Norton's Utilities are also recommended by Fred Langa of the Langa Letter.
ShockAndAwe^i^; If you ever find one program that does it all let me know. I've been searching for years and have found bumpkus as far as one "do it all" program. I know that even with the cleaning done by the forementioned, I can still use other programs to find something left over.
I've never figured out why a cleaner that will do it all seems to be a Mission Impossible.
Thanks for the info.
I thought there might be one
I've got ms reg clean and norton.
But thanks for the tips and Jouni Vuorio's RegCleaner 4.3
I'm gonna try that regcleaner too!
Damn I had ontrack sys suite and deleted it before installing because i was running norton and have limited room.Damn!
Thats sounds pretty good with the color codes and everything.

I DL'd regcleaner months ago and used it once and it detected some remains of a program i uninstalled months before that so i deleted the registry key only to find out that for some god awfull reason my IE was dependant upon it. Wouldn't a good regcleaner prog notice that it's still a viable program... i had to do a clean install on windows and was really pissed off for a couple of weeks about the whole thing.
Use at your own risk
